10/7/24: What's new in CommunityCore & CommunityConnect?
Every two weeks, we release improvements to our systems. When there are notable changes or new features, we highlight them here for you. The latest changes were deployed over the weekend. You don't need to do anything to see these updates in CommunityCore.
TL;DR (“Too Long; Didn’t Read”)

Permits & Planning
Improvement: Copy Permit or Planning Application
We simplified the process of copying an existing permit or planning application in CommunityCore.
Business Licensing
New Column Options
On the Active Licenses tab we added two new column options that you can show in the grid:
- Issued Date
- Business Description
If you need to run a report on active licenses with this information (issued date and business description, for example), you can export the contents of the grid like this:
New Report for Business Licensing
We added a new report that you can run for a single license type to see all license details, including all application fields (even custom!). This report can be run on a date range based on license acceptance date.
To access this report:
Reports > All tab > Business License Types with Field Details Report
CommunityConnect
New: Copy Permit or Planning Application
To simplify the process of creating new permit or planning applications, we added a feature in CommunityConnect that allows users to duplicate existing permits. This eliminates the need for them to re-enter identical information.
We have a step-by-step guide that you can share with CommunityConnect users (contractors, community members, private provider users) to help them through this process:
