5/23/22: What's new in CommunityCore?
Every two weeks, we release improvements to our systems and highlight what is new for you. The latest changes were deployed over the weekend. You don't need to do anything to see these updates in CommunityCore.
TL;DR (“Too Long; Didn’t Read”)
With these updates, now you can:
- Choose to send email notifications from a workflow step
- Download all system-generated documents in a permit to a zip file
- Save a few keystrokes by choosing Remember Me when logging in to CommunityCore or CommunityConnect
Workflow Notifications
You can read more about this new feature here: New feature: Send email notifications from the permit workflow
With this update, when updating the status on any open workflow step, you can also select to send an email notification to the applicant, contractor or any permit contact.
All email notifications sent from the workflow will be logged in the permit history.
Next, our developers will be working on a feature that will let you attach system-generated documents (permits, CCs, inspection cards, etc) to the workflow notifications.
Download system-generated documents to Zip
As with uploaded permit documents, you can now download system-generated documents to a Zip:
Remember Me
This option is not available for SAFEbuilt employees logging in with SSO.
Select Remember Me and the last email you used to log in will be saved so you don't have to enter it next time.
The CommunityCore development team releases enhancements to the web app every two weeks. If you have a request for an improvement or have identified an issue in CommunityCore, contact our Support team at support@communitycore.com.
