- You can inactivate a contractor from a permit if they are no longer involved in the permit as a contractor
- When a contractor is inactivated, they aren't removed as a contractor from the system entirely, they are just made inactive on that specific permit.
- A contractor that has been inactivated from a specific permit will still be able to view the permit in CommunityConnect, they will not receive notifications on that permit, however.
- You can also make a trade contractor inactive
Inactivate a Contractor From a Permit:
- In the permit, click Details, then Contractors
- Click the trash can icon in the contractor's record
- Click the Inactivate button
- View Inactive/Active contractors by clicking the toggle
💡 Quick tip
In a Contractor's profile, you can see the permits where they are an inactive contractor:
