Bluebeam integration for non-Bluebeam users

TL;DR
- You do not need Bluebeam installed on your laptop to use this new feature.
- This new feature (called "The Bluebeam Integrator") makes it easier for SAFEbuilt employees to download documents from a permit or project or upload documents to a permit or project to CommunityCore.
- Permissions must be enabled before you will see this feature
- This feature works with project and permit documents
- PDFs or Word documents can be downloaded from CommunityCore in to your systems Documents folder, then in a folder named SAFEbuilt Bluebeam Files
- You can upload revised or new files to CommunityCore using the Windows File Explorer
Before you start
- The Bluebeam Integrator must be installed on your SAFEbuilt laptop before you can use this integration
- The feature must be enabled by CommunityCore Support before you can begin using this feature
- You don't use Bluebeam or have it installed on your laptop? No problem! This feature works for users that don't use Bluebeam - surprise!
Download any PDF or Word document into Bluebeam
From Permit or Project documents in CommunityCore, click the Bluebeam icon .
The first time you use this feature, you will see this message. Click Open SAFEbuiltBlueBeamIntegrator to continue.
Where are the files saved?
Locate your CommunityCore files in the Windows File Explorer
Upload to CommunityCore
Revised document downloaded from CommunityCore
Upload a revised document back to CommunityCore
After making changes to a file in Adobe DC or Word and saving your changes, you can easily upload the revised version back to CommunityCore.
When right-clicking, if you don't see the option to Upload to CommunityCore, please make sure you are right clicking on the file name (not off of the letters).
Or upload a new document
You can use this process to upload a new document to CommunityCore after you have downloaded files from a permit and a folder has been automatically created (by the system) in the SAFEbuilt Bluebeam Files folder for the permit or project you are working on.
Upload a new document to CommunityCore
This option is for PDF and Word files only.
Save or move the new document to the correct permit folder in the SAFEbuilt Bluebeam Files folder:
Right-click the file, then select Upload to CommunityCore:

Update document details
Update the document name, add additional notes, mark as approved and/or share externally with the contractor/applicant:
Click Refresh
When you are back in the Documents screen in CommunityCore, refresh your page or click the Refresh button to see the documents you uploaded to CommunityCore.
Quick tips
Here are 3 ways that you can make it easier to locate the "SAFEbuilt Bluebeam Files" folder with your CommunityCore files. Right click on the SAFEbuilt Bluebeam Files folder and then select one or all of the following options:
a. Pin to Quick Access
b. Pin to Start
c. Send to Desktop > Create Shortcut
