2021 CommunityCore and InspectorConnect updates so far

We're over halfway through 2021 and we are looking back at what has been good this year. Here are some of our favorite updates and features that our developers have worked on and released this year...

Permit Applications

• Reopen a denied application

• Reactive a denied permit
• Add an alert to a permit
• Add and edit conditions on a permit
• Receive a notification when a contractor or community member makes a payment online
• Change a contractor on a permit to Inactive
• Add a new contractor to CommunityCore from the contractors screen in a permit

Inspections

• View scheduled inspections across multiple offices
• Reinspection fees have been added to the inspection results email
• Reschedule or cancel inspections from the main inspections screen

InspectorConnect 3.0 for building inspections

• Reorder inspections on the scheduled task screen
• Chat with our support team from InspectorConnect 3.0
• Assess reinspection fees from the app

Documents

• Attach additional permit or project documents when emailing a document from CommunityCore

Plan Reviews

• Plans examiners now receive an email when a plan review is assigned to them or unassigned. If you are a Plans examiner, you can update your email subscriptions if you want to receive fewer emails.
• New option to save plan approval or plan comment letters to permit or project documents
• Update details on a delivered submittal without changing the status of the submittal

  If you have contractors or community members that use CommunityConnect to apply for permits, make payments, or schedule inspections, now you can add a customized help center to CommunityConnect. The customized help center would have content specifically for your jurisdiction to help your users with the most frequently asked questions about your permitting process.
