When a Workflow Step Requires Fee Assessment or Payment

Some workflow steps may require fees to be assessed or payments to be made. This often happens in the "Permit Issuance" step to ensure that fees are assessed and payments are collected before a permit is issued.

When this fee assessment or payment is required on a workflow step, you will see this icon in the workflow:

Disable the Fee Requirement on the Workflow Step

If you are not going to assess fees or collect payments on the step with the requirement, you can easily disable the requirement on that workflow step for the permit.

• To disable to requirement on the workflow step, click the $ icon
• Then click Yes
