    9/27/21: What's new in CommunityCore and InspectorConnect 3.0?

    Every two weeks, we release improvements to our systems and highlight what is new for you. The latest changes were deployed over the weekend. You don't need to do anything to see these updates in CommunityCore. To take advantage of the new feature in InspectorConnect 3.0, please make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.

    TL;DR (“Too Long; Didn’t Read”)

    With these updates, now you can:

    • Customize the grid on the Plan Review and Submittals screens
    • Easily identify which permit is a primary permit or sub permit
    • Edit the code violation type on an open complaint in InspectorConnect 3.0 and CommunityCore


    And now, in InspectorConnect 3.0:

    • Building inspectors can choose to optimize their route for the day in InspectorConnect 3.0
    • If you reorder your task list on your iPhone, on your iPad (or vice-versa), you will see the task list in the same (new) order.

    Customize plan review and submittal grids

    We are giving you the option to customize which columns you see or don't see on the Plan Reviews and Submittals screens.

    In addition to this change, you can now:

    • Resize the column widths
    • Rearrange the columns
    • Choose which columns to show and hide
    • Easier sort and filter a column



    Identify primary permits and sub permits

    Now at a glance, you can tell if a permit is a primary permit or a sub permit. Primary permits will be indicated with a primary badge. Sub permits will be indicated with a subpermit badge. Like this:

    If you would like to set any of your permits as primary permits for your jurisdiction, please reach out to support. Then, let us know which of your current permit types you would like to indicate as a primary permit. support@communitycore.com
