Article summary

Every two weeks, we release improvements to our systems and highlight what is new for you. The latest changes were deployed over the weekend. You don't need to do anything to see these updates in CommunityCore. To take advantage of the new feature in InspectorConnect 3.0, please make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.

TL;DR (“Too Long; Didn’t Read”)

With these CommunityCore updates, now you can:

  • Reschedule or cancel inspections from the main inspections screen
  • Attach additional permit or project documents when emailing documents from CommunityCore

And in InspectorConnect 3.0:

  • Code enforcement officers can quickly add violation types with the new ability to "type-ahead"

Reschedule or cancel inspections from main inspections screen

It's now much easier to manage inspections from the main inspection screen. From this screen, you have always been able to easily view all inspections scheduled by date, the workload for each inspector (and more). In addition to that, now you can also reschedule and cancel inspections without going into the permit.

Add additional documents to an email

While emailing documents from CommunityCore, we are now giving you the option to attach additional permit or project documents to these emails to save a step or two and an email or two! For example, when sending the Plan Approval Letter, attach the final approved plans at the same time. In one email!

Type-ahead to add violation

"Type-ahead" in InspectorConnect for code enforcement makes it faster to add a violation to a new or existing case.
