4/22/24: What's new in CommunityCore?

With these updates, now you can:

• Invoices: New option to save a permit, planning, or business license invoice to Documents
• Fields: Search for a field to add to a permit, planning application, or business license
• Contractors: Search for a contractor by license number and search across jurisdictions for a contracting company.
• Submittal & Plan Review Email Notifications: New option to unsubscribe (for contractors and community members too!).

Save an Invoice to Documents

This feature is available in permits, planning applications, and business licenses.

We heard that you like to be able to track the date an invoice was created and see it in Documents. Good news! Now you can do that! When creating the invoice to download or email, you can also choose Save To Documents, like this:

You will see the option to Save to Documents after selecting Generate Invoice or Send Invoice.

Search for a Field

This feature is available in permits, planning applications, and business licenses.

Now, when adding a field to a permit, planning application, or business license, you can easily find the field you're looking for with a quick search:

Improved Contractor Search

We made a couple updates to make it easier for you to search for a contractor.

1. Now you can search for a contractor by license number
2. If you work in multiple jurisdictions in an Office, you can search for a contractor across the entire Office (as long as you have access to those jurisdictions).
   

Unsubscribe from Submittal and Plan Review Notifications

If any of your jurisdictions has enabled the notification to send email updates when a plan review is completed or when a submittal is created or delivered, you can now unsubscribe from these notifications. Contractors and community members in CommunityConnect can also unsubscribe from these notifications.

Edit Inspection Name

• A few weeks ago, we released an update that allows you can easily edit the Inspection Name, even if the inspection has already been resulted.
• You can edit the inspection name in a permit or planning application.
• The Inspection step in the workflow must be open in order to update the inspection name.
