Thank you for your feedback
You have the option to automatically add an electronic signature to a contractor license when it is issued. You can also choose not to place an electronic signature.
Here are the signature options you have for your jurisdiction(s):
- Do not place electronic signature on licenses: The licensor's name will continue to print as it does now, or
- Electronically sign by the the user that is generating the license document. This is not retroactive, so this signature would not be added on existing licenses. It would be added to all issued licenses going forward, or
- Electronically sign with a name of your choice for all contractor licenses: This would be a static signature on the license that could even be generated on existing licenses.
The signature on the license will look like this:
Please let us know which signature option you prefer for your jurisdiction(s) by filling out one request form per jurisdiction. If we don't hear from you, your licenses will continue to generate with the printed "signature" as they do now.
If you have any questions, let us know!
Thanks so much!
